Peshawar Customs collects Rs1585.04m in June

PESHAWAR: Collectorate of Customs collected Rs1585.04 million in June against the target of Rs2045 million having difference of Rs459.96 million while the difference in percentage was minus 15.03%.

As per the statistics, under head of customs duty the house collected Rs849.78 against the target of  Rs1059 million while this figure up to June 30 was recorded at Rs 10114. The difference in monthly collection was recorded Rs 209.22 million while the difference in percentage was minus 18.41%.

Under head of sale tax the house collected Rs493.48 million against Rs631 million of the previous month while the total figure up to June was Rs8.16 million in the previous financial year. The difference in monthly collection was minus Rs137.52 million while the difference in percentage was minus 16.35 %.

Under head of federal excise duty on import, the Collectorate collected Rs160 million against the target of Rs239 million having difference of minus Rs78.90 million while the difference in percentage was minus 33.01%.

Likewise under head of withholding duty the house collected Rs222 million against Rs340 million. The total collection up to June was recorded at Rs4510.35 million against Rs4725 million having difference of minus 4.54% while the difference in rupees was minus Rs214.65 million.
