Peshawar Customs Inspector Tanveer exonerated

ISLAMABAD: Tanveer Ahmed, a Pakistan Customs Service officer of BS-16, has been exonerated from the charges levelled against him.

The disciplinary proceedings were initiated against initiated against the officer, presently posted as inspector, Model Customs Collectorate, Peshawar, under Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973. Khial Muhammad, Deputy Director (BS-18), Directorate General of Intelligence & Investigation-FBR, Peshawar, was appointed as inquiry officer to probe into the charges levelled against the officer.

According to inquiry report, the charges levelled against the accused officer were not established. The authorised officer/Chief (Management-Customs) FBR, therefore, acquitted/exonerated Tanveer Ahmed from the charges levelled against him.
