Peshawar Customs Intelligence seizes 300 cartons of smuggled cigarettes

PESHAWAR: Customs Investigation and Intelligence recovered 300 cartons of tax evaded cigarettes and arrested two persons along with driver in Peshawar.

Customs Intelligence said that the non-duty paid cigarettes were supplied from Sawabi to Karachi while the suppliers possessed some fake documents of the tax invoices. Therefore, officials confiscated huge quantity of 300 cartons of cigarettes and started further investigation.
