The Collectorate also generated Rs89.13 million through the disposal of confiscated silver during FY26.

Revenue from confiscated foreign currency rose to Rs479.975 million, compared with Rs234 million in the preceding financial year, showing an increase of 105.12%.

Separately, revenue realised through public auction of confiscated goods also increased during the year. The Collectorate generated Rs1.954 billion through auctions in FY26, compared with Rs714.44 million in FY25 and Rs418.28 million in FY24, recording a 72.51% increase over the previous years.

It said the board would continue strengthening enforcement mechanisms, combating smuggling and improving revenue realisation through customs operations.
