Peshawar I&I to hold auction of NDP goods & vehicles today

PESHAWAR: Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation will hold 4th public auction of vehicles and seized goods on 22nd November 2018 (today) as ex-DG Shaukat Ali ordered to stop the auction in October without any reasons at Peshawar and Islamabad.

Director Customs Intelligence & Investigations Dr. Arslan told Customs Today that grand auction of various seized goods will be held at I&I premises on November 22, 2018 (today).

Dr. Arsalan said that more than 20 vehicles including Jeeps, Fielders, Vitz etc and multiple consignments of foreign origin confiscated smuggled fabric, tea, tyres, padlocks, auto parts etc will; be auctioned and it will be a big revenue generation activity.

He said  that this time the Directorate of I&I Peshawar has written letters of invitation along with list of goods those will put to auction to the Presidents of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Frontier/FATA Chamber and Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The good influx of participants is expected, he concluded.
