Peshawar Preventive seizes truck loaded with non-duty paid goods worth Rs38.18m

PESHAWAR: Collectorate of Customs Customs Preventive team deputed at Dera Ismail Khan impounded a Hino truck loaded with non duty paid goods worth Rs38.18 millions. Total estimated worth of the goods is Rs 32.18 million and grand total of the seizure is Rs38.18 million.

The Customs official informed Customs Today  that after pursuance of authentic information received from Additional Collector (Preventive) , a team was constituted by the Assistant Collector South-II D. I. Khan headed by Superintendent ASU D i Khan and Inspectors ASU D I Khan.

The staff of ASU D i Khan seized following foreign origin goods being transported in the garb of remeltable scrap.

The contraband goods include small chain ball bearings 5000 pieces which weight 450 kgs and welding electrodes 1720 boxes, 4300 kilograms, cylinder box 180 pieces, 600 kilograms.

Heavy industries machinery used arts 18,335 kilograms, new tyres various sizes 425 numbers. Used tyres various sizes 575 numbers.
