Peshawar Preventive withdraws recovery notice against M/s Sangeen Khan & Brothers Arms Dealers

PESHAWAR: Collectorate of Customs Preventive Peshawar recovery branch has decided to withdraw recovery notice against M/s Sangeen Khan & Brothers Arms Dealers.

According to details, Deputy Collector Customs Preventive Peshawar Recovery Cell has issued tax notices to M/s. Sangeen Khan & Brothers Arms Dealers for the recovery of duty and taxes of Rs33735/on import shipment of goods.

M/s. Sangeen Khan & Brothers Arms Dealers located in the Hasht Nagri G.T Road Peshawar was asked to pay their outstanding duty taxes of Rs33735/ and penalty of default surcharge under Sales tax act 1990.

Customs Preventive has initiated process of recovery by exercising their powers conferred by clause (a) of the sub section (1) of section 48 of the Sales tax Rules 2006 and requested Collector Customs (Appraisement) Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Peshawar and Sambrial to deduct said amount from any owing money to the said M/s. Sangeen Khan & Brothers Arms Dealers having Sales Tax Registration number 0501930005491 for the recovery of due taxes under the control of respective authorities.

The Collectorate withdrawn tax notice against M/s. Sangeen Khan & Brothers Arms Dealers after recovering government dues and intimated other Collectorates including Collectorate of Appraisement intimated that said notice has been withdrawn after recovery and clear their shipment in case of shipment.
