Petrol price likely to be hiked by Rs2.76 from January

ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has proposed to increase the prices of petroleum products from January 1, sources said on Monday.

As per details, petroleum product prices likely to go up by first January 2021 subject to government approval.

Petrol price is likely to go up by Rs2.76 per liter and diesel by Rs3.12 per liter.

Earlier on December 15, the government raised the prices of petroleum products by up to Rs5. The price of petrol was increased by Rs3 to Rs103.69 per litre.

The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) was pushed to Rs108.44 per litre while price of kerosene oil (SKO) rose to Rs70.29, a jump of Rs5.
