Phase I of Gwadar port development completed

ISLAMABAD: During the National Assembly session, Minister for Ports and Shipping Kamran Michael has informed the house that a high level committee has been constituted to acquire land for Gwadar Port.

He said that a number of projects on the port under phase 1 have been totally completed. The completed projects include three multipurpose berths, each 200 metre long and dredged 14.5 meter alongside, 100 meter service berth, one RO-RO berth, 4.7 kilometre long approach channel, dredged to 14.4 metre, turning basin 450 metre diameter, dredged to 13.8 metre and port related allied structures like control tower, informed Michael.
