PIA audit report reveals millions of rupees fraud in airport tax

KARACHI: The audit reports of the Pakistan International Airlines revealed that millions of rupees were embezzled under the head of airport tax.

Sources told Customs Today that auditors asked the authorities concerned to trace out the actual culprits who are behind this scam and recover the embezzled amount from them. Sources said that Rs 6.2 million embezzlement was made in the airport tax at the Lahore airport.
