KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has not submitted income tax returns to Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
According to the sources, FBR directed to PIA to clear outstanding tax amount till September 30 but PIA failed to submit the income tax. The sources further told that FBR will issue warrants to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and other officials of PIA for non submission of income tax.
The sources further told Customs Today, that FBR has sent a notice of RS 1.7 billion to PIA and also has given the final date of submission but nothing has been done by PIA so far. Now the FBR is considering to take legal action against PIA authorities.
