KARACHI: During the joint investigation of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), three low ranking staff members of PIA have been found guilty in an attempt of drug smuggling case on flight No. PK-211 on November 4, 2015.
The three staffers including one daily wager have also given their confessional statements.
Chairman PIA has taken immediate disciplinary action against them and terminated them from service.
Meanwhile PIA management has announced cash award for those crew members of PK-211 who reported the presence of narcotics on the flight and saved the country and the airline from disrepute.
