KARACHI: Customs Appraisement West has decided to take action against M/s Wasti Traders for its alleged involvement in pilferage of transshipment cargo.

The Customs authorities have summoned the company regarding suspension of their bonded carrier license. The Collectorate has warned M/s Wasti Traders and customs agent that in case no one appears for hearing on the given date, it will be presumed that M/s Wasti Traders does not want to defend themselves and the case will be decided ex-parte as per evidence available on the record.
