WARSAW: Polish collector’s banknote made of plastic was named the best collector’s banknote in the world ex aequo with Nigerian and Scottish banknotes at the Currency Conference in Vancouver organized by International Association for Currency Affairs.
A 20-złoty banknote was appreciated for its sophisticated visual trim and high security standards. The banknote was issued by the National Bank of Poland to commemorate the 100 anniversary of establishing Legiony Polskie by Marshall Józef Piłsudski.
