Police arrests 25 drug peddlers, seizes 5.145Kg contraband items

SARGODHA: The district Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested 25 drugs dealers and recovered narcotics and illegal weapons from them. The official sources said Police recovered 3,145g hashish, 2,000g heroin, 72 bottle liquor, seven pistols and three guns with numbers of rounds and cartridges from the accused who were identified as Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Saleem, Zahid Khan, Muhammad Tanvir, Muhammad Imran, Mumtaz, Jamshed Ali, Tuqeer Nasir, Ghulam Akbar, Muhammad Khan, Khalid Mehmood, Sajjad Maseeh, Nazar Hussain, Muhammad Azam, Abdul Rauf, Ghulam Abbas and others.

Police have registered separate cases against the accused and sent them to jail.
