Port Qasim receives Maersk Pittsburgh

KARACHI: The Port Qasim Authority has received MV Maersk Pittsburgh at its outer anchorage. The vessel is a container ship.

Meanwhile, six vessels have already reached the outer anchorage of the port.

MV Sea Luck-II is carrying import cargo of 29,798 tonnes of sunflower seeds; MV Flag Mersinidi is carrying 55,815 tonnes of wheat imports;

MT al Salam is loaded with 52,517 tonnes of HSDO; MV Dynamic Ocean is leaded with 7,000 tonnes of cement import; MV Sunny Horizon is carrying 12,267 tonnes of steel product import while MV CMA CGM Rablats is carrying container shipments.

During the last 24 hours, the port handled 13,923 tonnes of cargoes, including palm oil and cement.
