PRA seals builders’ offices due to tax evasion

LAHORE: Deputy Commissioner Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) Faisalabad Asif Nadeem sealed various offices of town builders and developers, visa consultancy offices and food outlets for default of sales tax.

The deputy commissioner along with the help of police department sealed Shalimar developers and builders, City builders, Naveed builders, East West services, Super link International, Spicy food block 11 and Namkeen Shanwari Club road.

Talking to media persons, the DC said that Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) had been established through which various notices were served to such offices for registration and payment of taxes regularly failing to which such properties were sealed. He appealed to the traders for payment of taxes avoiding any embarrassing situation.
