PRA seals marriage halls, hotels in South Punjab, recovers Rs 3m

MULTAN: The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) while extending its sphere of activities throughout the Punjab against the owners of marriage clubs, hotels and restaurants to bring them under the tax net, has sealed few clubs and hotels in South Punjab.

The PRA Additional Commissioner South Punjab Zeeshan Nazir Khan on Monday sealed MS Events Complex, Celebration Hotel, Sofia Hotel in Layyah whereas Ajwa Marriage Hall and Apna Palace Marriage Hall in Dera Ghazi Khan (DG Khan) on the non-payment of sales tax and Rs 3 million fine has been recovered by the owners.
