LAHORE: President Pakistan Poultry Association Dr. Mustafa Kamal welcomed the removal of taxes on poultry products.
Kamal said that Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has tried to make budget acceptable and remove taxes on poultry products following the public demand.
After imposition of taxes, the rate of poultry surged causing burden over the public but the withdrawal of taxes provide relief to them.
Chicken become a part of diet of common man, kamal said, adding that the poultry was less expensive than the vegetable.
President poultry association has also asked the businessman to keep sustain the prices of poultry products in Ramaza.
