Property tax: Excise starts issuing PT 10 forms to property owners in Gujranwala

SIALKOT: Excise and Taxation Department has started issuing as many as 10000 computerized PT 10 forms to the property owners for the collection of the property taxes with 10 percent increase in Gujranwala city, as the Excise and Taxation Department has declared Gujranwala city’s two circles as model.

According to the Excise and Taxation Officer Fiza Shah, this time the Excise and Taxation Department has been issuing the computerized PT 10 forms to the property owners due to ban on issuing the manual PT 10 forms imposed by the Punjab government due to several flaws in Gujranwala, Sialkot, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Multan following the mounting claims of mistakes and corruption.
