PSX closes higher having 43060.71 points

KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 record shut higher on Monday having 43060.71 points with a positive change of 61.05 and volume of 91,750,090 shares.

High and Low were 43184.92 and 42999.66 individually. Add up to volume exchanged the market was 460,221,590 shares with 418 aggregate exchanged organizations out of which 237 were up 168 were down and 13 were unaltered.

CHEMICALS traded sector with total traded volume of 58,839,500 hares. It was followed by TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION with a total traded volume of 56,532,500 hares.

The three top traded companies were Lotte Chemical with a volume of 30,079,500 and price per share of 9.04 (0.73) Media Times Ltd with a volume 28,297,000 of price per share of 6.15 (0.75), Nimir Resins with a volume 15,651,000 of price per share of 13.65 (0.83).

The top three advancers were Rafhan Maize(XD) with price per share 7938.00 (378.00), Philip Morris Pak. price per share of 2018.40 (88.40) and Service Ind.Ltd share of 1615.87 (76.88).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4485.83 (102.94), Colgate Palmolive with price per share of 1651.05 (47.95) and Sanofi-Aventis share of 2139.13 (29.04).
