KARACHI: The bearish trend opened the second day of newly-inaugurated Pakistan Stock Exchange Ltd (PSX) as the 100-inded shed 221.53 points to drop to 32098.52 points level on Tuesday.
The first day of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) also witnessed bearish trend due to selling by local investors. The benchmark KSE 100-index declined by 214.80 points to close at 32,320.05 points. Total volume decreased 21% to 86m shares while traded value declined by 27% to Rs 5.2b. Of total 309 traded companies in the session, 215 closed in decline, 72 in advance while 22 remained unchanged.
