KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) remained under pressure till midday as it shed 43.49 points to drop to 50101.14 points level on Wednesday.
Earlier, the stocks witnessed a volatile session after opening and gained 15 points to reach 50149 points level.
On Tuesday, the PSX benchmark shares index after making an intraday high of 190 points and an intraday low of 201 points, finally closed 24 points up at 50,144.63 level.
Market participation thinned with volumes declining 9pc to 232 million share, while traded value fell 2pc to Rs13.5 billion/$129 million.
