Punjab government to collect Rs59 b more revenue to achieve target for FY 2014-15

LAHORE: Punjab government has collected 34.28 percent less revenue in first three quarters of Financial Year (FY) 2014-15.

Government has collected Rs1 trillion and Rs12 billion out of Rs1 trillion and Rs71 billion set target for first nine months. Government needed to collect Rs59 billion more in remaining one quarter.

According to details Punjab government collected Rs1 trillion and Rs12 billion revenue of Rs1 trillion and Rs71 billion set target which is Rs.34.28 percent less from set target for FY 2014-15.

The target of MUHASIL income is Rs1 trillion and Rs23 billion in which Rs 68 billion has collected that is 54 billion less from target.

Target for non MUHASIL is Rs48 billion in which Rs44 billion collected which is Rs.4 billion less.

In Financial year 2013-14 government succeed to achieved target collected Rs1 trillion and Rs11 billion out of Rs1 trillion and Rs27 billion targets in first nine months.
