Punjab Rangers kill 3 liquor smugglers at Wagha

LAHORE: The Punjab Rangers here the other day killed another smuggler at Wagha sector and arrested his accomplice.

On Wagha Border on Wednesday at 8 pm, on the information of Intelligence sources, a Rangers party observed that three smugglers were trying to cross over to India but law-enforcers opened firing on them which they retaliated. In retaliation one smugglers was killed, another was apprehended while another managed to escape. According to Punjab Rangers representative, smugglers were trying to smuggle Indian alcohol to Pakistan through Wagha sector.
