NAB seeks written reply from Rana Mashhood in Punjab Youth Festival scam

LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has asked Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashhood to submit a written reply on his alleged involvement in the Punjab Youth Festival scam.

NAB has started investigations into the video scandal case and the Punjab Youth Festival scam and has sought written a reply from Punjab Education Minister Rana Mashhood.

NAB investigators met Rana Mashhood for three hours and apprised him of the allegations against him. NAB team asked Rana Mashhood to submit a written reply before the start of a formal investigation against  him.

Mashhood told the NAB team that the allegations against him were politically-motivated.

Rana Mashhood has previously rejected accusations of fraud in Punjab Youth Festivals, calling them baseless and ridiculous.
