DOHA: Minister of Economy and Commerce H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani said yesterday that cooperation and trade volume between Qatar and Tajikistan should be further enhanced.
The Minister’s comments came during the second meeting of the Joint Qatari-Tajik committee for economic cooperation. Along with the Minister, the committee was chaired on the Tajikistan side by their Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nematullo Hikmatullozoda.
HE the Qatari minister gave a speech during the meeting in which he reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and expressed the desire to enhance cooperation in all fields.
The two sides reviewed relations in the trade and investment fields. They also explored opportunities in many other sectors, including transport, energy, industry, mining, education, agriculture and tourism.
