Ali Al Obaidli said: “The fact that Forbes honours the Group as the best Qatari company for investments diversification reflects that we have done well in our plans over more than three years since Ezdan has become a holding group. Actually, it took some time to create the internal environment of the group and to develop its restructuring and its statute so that to encompass wider choice of investment. Such strategy has been translated into radical changes made to the Group with the aim to steadily open the horizon towards the diversification of its investments.”

He added: “The group occupies an advanced position in Forbes rating worldwide is regarded a realistic and tangible evidence showing that Ezdan Holding Group has made successful strides during the last period, especially the past year. We are confident that we will continue in this trend to enhance profitability and achieve maximum stability, which will qualify us to achieve the most advanced position among the most powerful companies in the world in the coming years. “

He stressed that the giant projects recently launched by Ezdan have led to the strengthening of the financial performance of the group, the fact that enabled it to top the competition with the large investment entities around the world, pointing out that the group has won the first position among the Qatari real estate companies in the world, as per Forbes classification.

He noted that such honouring will be added to the acclaimed record of the group’s highest awards achievements over the past 55 years, which represents a long history of success as well as the tireless efforts made prompting a surge in the growth of the group and an increase in the volume of assets to exceed the barrier of QR43bn. Such leading position of the group has led to a privileged position in the Qatari market and diversified investment sectors, noting that it helped the group to take advantage of the economic climate and investment boom in the State of Qatar, keeping pace with the strong growth witnessed in the state in this regard.
