DOHA: Qatar Finance and Installment Exhibition (QFIE) 2018 got underway here with an aim to disseminate all needed information in opening new businesses, or developing projects that will support the national economy.  The three-day expo, organised by Arkan Company at the Qatar National Convention Center, has lined up an array of participants including Beema, Mashreq, General Takaful and Asian Arab Chamber of Commerce.
‘The QFIE is targeting all potential customers interested in the finance development and instalments. Our objective is to bring all the needed information in opening their own business or developing projects that will support the local economy, the organisers said, adding the importance of the work of banks and finance companies in providing sources of funds to provide resources and guide them for development purposes.
The exhibition, which will conclude tomorrow, is a huge opportunity for banks, finance companies, commercial brokers, legal consultants and advisers to promote their services and packages and also enables creating a network connection with other companies from the finance industry.
Finance is one of the main pillars of economic growth in the world, which leads to the creation of employment opportunities, especially in small and medium enterprises (SMEs), which not only benefits the individuals and society as a whole and the well-being of its members, but also fosters entrepreneurial development, the organisers said.
Qatar has been on the forefront in developing its SMEs for which Qatar Development Bank (QDB) has rolled out several special schemes.
