Quetta Customs foils bid to smuggle narcotics worth Rs352.7m

QUETTA: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement has foiled an attempt to smuggle huge quantity of charas and heroine worth Rs352.7 million.

Sources said that information was passed to Collector Khalid Husain Jamali to Additional Collector Moin Afzal regarding movement of narcotics.

Assistant Collector Shafi Ullah directed the ASO team to enhance vigilance and thwart any attempt of smuggling.

The Field Enforcement Unit, Yaroo in the jurisdiction of Enforcement, Quetta in collaboration with FC Hqrs Qilla Abduallah Scouts seized 27 kilograms of heroine and 415 Kgs of charas having worth of Rs 352.700 million in international market.

FIR has been lodged and further investigations are still underway till the filing of this report.
