KARACHI: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation, Quetta, has impounded over 22 non-duty paid luxury vehicles worth Rs 200 million during March 2016.
The Quetta Customs Intelligence, following the directions of regional director, has expedited the operation against non-duty paid vehicles, which are brought into the country through illegal routes causing loss to the national exchequer.
In a recent action, an intelligence team raided a godown in Panjgor and impounded three luxury vehicles worth Rs 25 million. The officials said that the said vehicles were brought into country almost two days ago and parked in the godown, adding that some influential personalities of Balochistan are allegedly involved in this crime.
