Quetta Collector Saeed Jadoon has formed teams to conduct the raids in far-flung areas as most of the smuggled vehicles have been removed from the city showrooms to nearby villages and towns.

Deputy Collector ASO Ubaidullah will head the raiding teams in Kuchlak, Pishin, Yaro, Loralai and Zhob, while Additional Director Dr Fareed will monitor the entire operation.

The Customs Department has already advertised the campaign and advised the owners and possession holders of smuggled and non-duty paid vehicles to surrender the smuggled goods before the Customs otherwise legal action would be taken against the people involved in this practice.
