Quetta Customs recovers huge quantity of smuggled perfumes, memory cards

KARACHI: Directorate General Customs Intelligence and Investigation Quetta authorities recovered huge quantity of foreign origin perfumes, mobile memory cards.

Sources told Customs Today that Director General Customs Intelligence and Investigation Imtiaz Ahmad Khan received credible information regarding some smuggling attempts. He directed customs authorities Quetta to take effective mesures to foil thee bids. On a tip-of customs team raided a house which was located in Bohwari area and recovered 70 cartons full of foreign origin performs and more than 5000 memory cards of mobiles.

Sources also told that the above mentioned house was rented out recently and owners of using this house as a godown. Customs authorities seized the smuggled goods and registered a case against owner of the house.
