Quetta Customs recovers smuggled Iranian diesel, dry fruit in different crackdowns

KARACHI: The Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation, Quetta, recovered 12,000 liters of Iranian diesel and dry fruits during different crackdowns.

According to sources, Collector Saeed Jadoon received secret information that a huge quantity of dry fruit will be smuggled. After receiving the tip-off, he formed a team under the supervision of Deputy Director Intelligence Inamullah Wazir. The customs team intercepted a Mazda truck and recovered 20 sacks of almond, 25 sacks of walnut and 15 sacks of pistachio. The Customs team arrested the accused and started investigations.
