Quetta Customs seizes over dozen of NDP vehicles

QUETTA: The Customs authorities have recovered over a dozen of non-customs paid vehicles worth millions of rupees.

Quetta Collector Ashraf Ali has formed special anti-smuggling teams under the supervision of Additional Collector Zubair Shah and Deputy Collector Maqbool Baloch to root out the menace. During the special surveillance at various parts of the city, the team recovered more than a dozen of non-customs paid vehicles.

Customs authorities have also planned to raid on illegal showrooms where non-customs vehicles are parked. FC and local police is extending all cooperation to customs authorities. The crackdown was launched on the directives of Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) and the ambit of this operation is also being extended to other parts of province within the jurisdiction of Quetta MCC.
