ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Customs has posted one of its best officer Dr. Rahmatulah Vistro as Director, Directorate of Transit Trade (Hq) Karachi with immediate effect and until further orders.
It is necessary to mention here that on the basis of his expertise in the field of nuclear material detection, the officer has also been given additional charge of a newly created Directorate of National Nuclear Detection Architecture. The work of this new Directorate has been considered as the most sensitive and important one for the country.
Sources said that the new Director is well trained from abroad in modern scanning as well as nuclear detection techniques and have long experience of running the US project of nuclear material detection.
It has been observed with satisfaction that recently FBR has started posting of right officer for the right job, which is good omen not only for the department but also for the country.
