Railway police intercept 30 gold biscuits at Wagha border

LAHORE: Pakistan Railway Police caught a woman while checking her luggage containing 30 biscuits of gold she was trying to take with her to India on Monday evening at Wagha border.

According to Pakistan Railway Police Raheema Bibi an Indian citizen was carrying heavy amount of gold. She came from Karachi after meeting her relatives and was destined to Indian city Gujrat. During investigation Raheema Bibi claimed that the gold is gift from her brothers who live in Karachi for the marriage of her daughter. She said she was not smuggling the gold it just happened due to lack of knowledge.
