RDA seals eight shops, school on illegal commercial activities

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has conducted operation against illegal commercial activities in residential areas in Asghar Mall area and sealed eight shops and a school.

According to RDA spokesman, the Enforcement section team with the help of police under the supervision of Superintendent Syed Muhammad Aslam, Enforcement Department Incharge Rana Tariq Javed Khan and inspectors conducted operation on the directives of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division/Director General (DG) RDA Azmat Mahmud and took action against illegal commercial activities in residential areas in Asghar Mall area.

The team sealed eight shops including makeup city, beauty parlor, J.D studio, Dehli optical, Technocare Refrigeration, Bird shop and others and a school in Asghar Mall area. The spokesman warned the citizens not to violate the rules otherwise strict action in accordance with the law would be taken against the violators.

RDA’s building control department is also regularly conducting operations against illegal and unauthorized commercial and residential constructions and encroachments in the city, he added.
