Rs 80 million tax evasion: RTO Faisalabad lodges FIR against Abdullah Fibers

FAISALABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue Regional Tax Office in Faisalabad has lodged a case against the owner of M/s Abdullah Fiber Private Limited, allegedly involved in tax evasion of Rs 80 million.

The Faisalabad RTO has nominated the Muhammad Nawaz Vohra and his son Muhammad Abdullah in FIR No. 07/2015.

Accused were involved in usage of flying invoices that caused loss of Rs 80 million to national exchequer.

The Investigation & Prosecution wing of RTO Faisalabad after lodging the FIR raided the different areas to arrest the owners who are still at large.

It is pertinent to mention here that the I&P of RTO Faisalabad has sent a copy of FIR to the Customs Court, Lahore for trial.
