KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected Rs 18.356 billion during the first 10 days of April 2016.
The RTO-I collected Rs 17.347 billion in the wake of income tax, Rs 992 million as sales tax and Rs 17 million under the head of federal excise duty (FED) during the said period.
It is important to mention here that RTO-I generated Rs 17.245 billion during the first 10 days of the March 2016. It collected Rs 16.353 billion as income tax, Rs 877 million in wake of sales tax and Rs 15 million as federal excise duty.
