LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has achieved the assigned target for the month of May 2016. The FBR had assigned Rs 7,847 million revenue collection target for the month of May and Regional Tax Office –II has collected Rs 7,875 million during the month.
It is necessary to mention here that Chief Commissioner Khawaja Adnan Zahir is leading his team since he joined RTO-II Lahore. Under his supervision, the RTO-II achieved all the monthly targets since February 2016.
The Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) collected Rs 3,836 million in May under the head of sales tax. The RTO-II collected Rs 996 million in domestic sales tax which is 43 percent more as compared to the same month last year.
