KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office (RTO-II) collected Rs47978 million in head of duty and taxes in June 2017. This is higher than the previous month (May).
According to details, RTO-II collected Rs44763 million in head of income tax, Rs2665 million sales tax and Rs550 million in head of federal excise duty (FED) during June 2017.
Meanwhile, the Model Customs Export operations released 6 final warning notifications as well as 5 show cause notifications to the defaulters. As a response to the issued notifications, the department has received amount from 3 defaulters. The department recovered Rs600,000 from the defaulters in June 2017.
