RTO-II collects Rs 10.56 billion in September

LAHORE:  The Federal board of Revenue (FBR), Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) achieved the target of September and collected Rs 10.56 billion under the heads of income tax, sales tax and federal excise duty.

Official sources told Customs Today that tax office has not only met the target but also exceeded the target.

The RTO-II collected Rs 7 billion in terms of income tax, Rs 3.8 billion in wake of sales tax and Rs 500 million under the head of federal excise duty.

Source added that RTO-II has also achieved the target for first quarter of financial year 2015-16, while the data in this regard will be shared later.
