RTO-II recovers Rs 28 million from tax defaulters’ accounts

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) has attached bank accounts of various tax defaulters and recovered Rs 28.424 million.

As per details, a team of RTO-II took action against three different tax defaulters to recover the outstanding arrears.

The team attached the bank account of Engineering Consultancy Service and recovered Rs 10.05 million, while the Rs 10.03 million were recovered from the account of the Agro Industrial Solution in wake of taxes.

Similarly, the team under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Servish Samee also attached the bank of United Trade Mark and recovered Rs 8 million, besides recovering Rs 367,000 from another tax defaulter.
