KARACHI: Assistant Commissioner Regional Tax Office III Iqbal Manendro has said that “we are confident that we will achieve the revenue target by the end of the current fiscal year.”
He said: “We are taking strict measures in this regard and are sending notices to defaulters.” He revealed that a notice has been sent to Junaid and Company which is situated in Nazimabad for the recovery of Rs 160 million. He said that the company has been asked to deposit the tax till June 18, 2015 otherwise FBR authorities will deduct the tax from their bank accounts.
He further said that we have send notices to around eight hundred defaulters and ask them to clear the dues. He said only 122 people submit their reply. Iqbal Manendro said that we are optimistic that we will definitely achieve financial target during current fiscal year.
