RTO-III generates Rs 86366 million in February

KARACHI: Regional Tax Office III (RTO-III) has recovered Rs 86366 million taxes under different heads during the month of February.

While talking to Customs Today, Additional Commissioner RTO-III Qayyum Shah has said that RTO-III has directed the officials to gear up its tax collection in next four months to meet the set target.

RTO-III has collected Rs 83563 million as income tax, Rs 2533 million was recovered under the head of sales tax and was successful to recover Rs 270 million as federal excise duty.

It is pertinent to mention here that RTO-III generated Rs 85502 million in the month of January. Rs 83401 million collected as income tax, Rs 1902 million as sales tax and Rs 199 million was recovered under head of federal excise duty.
