RTO-III serves notices on 2 companies to recover Rs 13m taxes

KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office-III of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued notices to two defaulter companies directing them to pay Rs 13.4 million sales taxes until next month.

The RTO-III served tax notice on Kamran Group of Industry and Al Hudabia Garments and Exports on showing less income than the actual in order to avoid taxes. After scrutinizing the record, the officials investigated the matter which made their suspicions confirmed that the said companies have mis-declared their income.

The RTO issued notice to Kamran Group of Industry to pay Rs 8.8 million and a notice to Al Hudabia Garments for payment of Rs 4.6 million. The officials said that stern actions will be taken to recover the national revenue if the said companies stayed reluctant.
