RTO-III collects Rs 20,345m during first ten days of May

KARACHI: The Regional Tax Office-III (RTO-III) generated Rs 20,345million during the first ten days of May which is more than Rs 672 million from the first ten days of April.

According to the source, the RTO-III collected Rs 20,345 million under different heads, including, Rs 19403 million as income tax, Rs 921 million as sales tax and Rs 21 million as excise duty.

It is pertinent to mention here that the RTO-III collected Rs 19,673 million as tax during the first ten days of April. As per details, the said amount includes Rs 18,764 income tax, Rs 891 million sales tax and Rs 18 million federal excise duty.
