KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee remained under pressure against US dollar in cash-free market on Monday, the first day of trading week.
As per the local currency market, the US dollar gained 40 paisas in open market to reach 103.75, and remained unchanged in interbank at 101.80. On Friday, the greenback added 10 paisas in open market to be traded at 103.35.
A surge in demand for the reserve currency in the open market led the Pakistani currency to breach the Rs103-mark last week.
