Russia to enhance trade ties with Pakistan

SIALKOT: Trade Representative of Russian Embassy in Islamabad Mr. Yuri M. Kolzov has stressed the need of promoting of strong bilateral trade relations between Pakistan and Russia.

He stated this while addressing a meeting held at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) here. SCCI Acting President Mir Alamgir Meyer, former SCCI President Sheikh Abdul Majeed, Mian Mohsin Gull , Rana Nadeem Akhtar and Waqas Akram Awan were also present on the occasion.

Russian envoy discussed in details the matters of mutual interest with SCCI officials. He also gave a detailed briefing about the growing mutual trade opportunities in Russia and scope of joint ventures in different trade sectors between Russia and Pakistan.

Mr. Yuri M. Kolzov offered SCCI to establish the office of Pakistan-Russia Business Council Punjab Chapter at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) to promote the mutual trade activities between the two countries.
